Haya Fatima Iqbal

Haya Fatima Iqbal is an Oscar and Emmy-winning documentary filmmaker whose films have created on-ground impact in communities. She directs, produces and shoots nonfiction films across Pakistan. She is also the Co Founder of the Documentary Association of Pakistan (DAP), an organization that mentors filmmakers on craft, navigating censorship, and building resonance among Pakistani audiences, while connecting them with global markets. Haya is a Fulbright alumna with an MA in News & Documentary form New York University, and she teaches as an Associate Professor of Practice at Habib University.
